This weekend, the NASCAR XFinity paddock wrapped up the Drive for the Cure 250 at the Charlotte Roval. In the end, AJ Allmendinger braved the wet and soggy conditions to win ahead of Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric.

Of course, his win has no effect on the Playoffs, but the likes of Brandon Brown, Harrison Burton, Riley Herbst, and Michael Annett were eliminated.

This means that Chase Briscoe, Austin Cindric, Justin Allgaier, and Noah Gragson qualified. Also joining them in the Round of 8 are Justin Haley, Brandon Jones, Ross Chastain, and Ryan Sieg.

Obviously, all eight drivers will be under a lot of pressure in the next three races.

Drivers Standings 2019

Which of the NASCAR Xfinity drivers are in danger?

Going by the points, Haley, Jones, Chastain, and Sieg are the most vulnerable drivers in the pack. This is because the quartet is lying below the cutoff line, so the drivers will have to find a way to up the ante and bring the heat if they want to survive.

To be precise, Haley lies a mere two points away from making the Top-4. Meanwhile, Jones has a 5-point deficit to the Top-4, with Chastain falling 15 points short.

However, Ryan Sieg is the one who has the toughest job of them all as he is 23 points off the cutoff line. Of course, the likes of Briscoe, Cindric, Allgaier, and Gragson cannot afford to rest on their laurels either.

The competition is getting increasingly intense as the playoff field whittles down to merely eight contenders. Suffice to say, everybody needs to bring their A-game at Kansas, Texas, and Martinsville.

Drivers Standings For Nascar

They will all be keen to bag wins to guarantee their qualification. From there, the only direction will be towards the final showdown at the Phoenix Raceway, and that is where the victor will finally be crowned.
